NASCAR: Five Silly Season Updates That Fans Need To Know About

Martin Truex Jr staying with Furniture Row Racing

It was the easy choice.

While FRR is still very much in limbo in regards to whether they will stay with Toyota Racing next season or not, Martin Truex Jr announced in an interview that he would be sticking with FRR and signing a new deal. This news comes after Five Hour Energy announced that they would be leaving the team after 2018, which means Truex Jr will need a new sponsor for next year.

In the end, Martin Truex Jr staying with FFR is an obvious answer, especially since that is where Truex Jr won his first championship and could result in another if everything goes according to plan. Of course that will be highly dependent on what happens between Furniture Row Racing and Toyota Racing, but expect them to be firing on all cylinders if a new deal is inked.
