NASCAR: Five Drivers Worth Rooting For And Five Drivers Not Worth Rooting For in 2018

Not worth rooting for: Aric Almirola

Call bias if you want, but there is just something about the boy’s at SHR that is really hard to get behind right now. Sure, Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch made The Playoffs this year and Harvick was fortunate enough to make The Final Four at Homestead Miami, but that doesn’t mean the team hasn’t had its struggled. In fact, Busch, who won The Daytona 500 at the start of the season couldn’t even manage to make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

With that being said, and Danica Patrick’s performance in the last five years in mind, it should probably go without saying that Aric Almirola and his team have a pretty steep hill to climb if they want to reach any kind of success in 2018. Maybe its possible and maybe its not, but if the past has taught us anything about #10 car, its going to take a lot more then just a driver to make this team something to be proud of.

That said, don’t waste your time this season.
