Haymaker after haymaker.
That is what NASCAR fans have been treated to ever since NASCAR media day kicked off at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, and while some of the things said are probably just drivers trying to make headlines in the opening weeks of the season, other drivers have spoken some very wise words. Of course its not known whether NASCAR will follow the advice they have been given by countless top drivers in the sport, but there a few that seem tempting to think about.
For example, former Cup Series champion, Kevin Harvick spoke to reporters on media day about NASCAR changing the location of the championship race and its a pretty interesting thing to think about. Sure, NASCAR fans are usually resistant to change, especially when it comes to the playoffs, but everyone can probably agree that one of the big changes NASCAR needs to make is the location of its championship race.
With that being said and the possibility now out in the open, here are five tracks that should replace championship weekend at Homestead Miami. Of course everyone probably has a different opinion on this and think that their favorite track should serve as the final race of The Monster Energy Cup Series season, but try to keep an open mind to the other possibilities that are out there.
