Its no secret that Kyle Busch has had his issues with anger of the course of his Cup Series career and while he has gotten better about controlling it over the last couple of years. Unfortunately for Busch and the drivers he has taken his taken out his anger on, the revelation that he probably should learn to control his temper came after year after year of cringeworthy incidents.
For example, Kyle Busch was competing in a Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway in 2001 and ended up intentionally wrecking Ron Hornaday Jr after an on track incident. A listen of his radio scanner at the time shows that his team and his spotter told him repeatedly to calm down, but he still Hornaday into the wall.
Unfortunate for Hornaday, he was competing for a championship at the time and the wreck with Kyle Busch took him out of the running for the title that year. Of course NASCAR responded to the incident by parking Busch for two weeks, effectively costing him a few weeks pay, but it still didn’t take away the sting of Ron Hornaday being eliminated so cruelly
