#5 Longtime fans
Depending on what direction the potential buyer takes after the purchase, NASCAR could have a much different looking landscape in a few years from now. In fact, if the potential buyer decides to cater to the longtime fanbase like NASCAR used to do, it will undoubtedly be something that the casual fan could enjoy again.
It would also allow for fans to gain trust in the sport again and maybe cause a renaissance of sorts with them by going implementing certain changes. In the end, changing the point system back to the one used in 2002 and get rid of the stage racing would be a good start, but who knows where things could go from there!
