There are only a handful of races before NASCAR’s version of the postseason starts and drivers are fighting tooth and nail to be a part of the action. Unfortunately for some of the drivers in The Monster Energy Cup Series, however, they find themselves needing a miracle in order to keep their position or even make it in.

Of course, that’s just the nature of the beast, especially at NASCAR’s top level of competition, but it doesn’t make it any easier for the drivers that are left outside of cutoff after Indianapolis. With that being said and the playoffs inching closer and closer, whos in danger of missing the playoffs.?

Here are five drivers in such a situation.
