Will: Alex Bowman
Between making the playoffs in his first year with Hendrick Motorsports and pulling out a string of consistent finishes this season, one would think Alex Bowman will have some staying power in NASCAR. He was also handpicked by Dale Earnhardt Jr to take over for him, which will at least carry some weight for the next couple of years.
Whether Bowman manages to stay competitive or not as time goes on remains to be seen, but there is nothing that justifies taking away his seat right now. In fact, Bowman signed an extension with Hendrick Motorsports earlier this year, which will reportedly keep him in the #88 car for at least another year.
