Five NASCAR Drivers That Will Be Released At The End Of The 2018 Season

#3 Trevor Bayne

Trevor Bayne already lost seat time to Matt Kenseth, who Roush Fenway racing announced would be stepping into the ride to help the team gain a competitive edge, and now it seems he might be on the outs with the company as well. This was revealed by Business Insider Journalist, Adam Stern, who claimed on twitter that Bayne is on his way out and a replacement will be named.

“NASCAR industry folks close to @RoushFenway are saying that it’s unlikely that @Tbayne6 will return to the team next year, Stern said in a Tweet about Bayne’s future with RFR, “but RFR is insisting that no decisions have been made and that it’s hopeful @MattKenseth‘s arrival will improve the performance of the entire organization.”

Of course that is just a rumor and Bayne might be able to court another team if he can in the #6 before the end of the year, but a lot of that will be depended on his attitude and performance going forward.
