#3 Darrell Wallace Jr
Another driver that has been disappointing to watch so far this season is Richard Petty Motorsports driver, Darrell Wallace Jr, who only has two top-ten finishes this season and is on the verge of missing out on the playoffs in his rookie season. Of course some of that stat record has to do with growing pain and sub par equipment, but it doesn’t seem like the fire is there either.
Maybe those aren’t the right words to use, especially since Wallace Jr has been known to get very emotional and even intense behind the wheel, but he’s been a virtual afterthought since Daytona. He did achieve an eighth place finish at Texas, which is a good showing for a rookie driver, but beyond that has been lackluster at best.
