#3 Jamie McMurray
Jamie McMurray is a unique case when it comes to talking about busts in NASCAR. On one hand, Jamie McMurray won at three of the most historic tracks in NASCAR history, something that is considered a trifecta in the world of NASCAR, but has done little besides that. With that being said and McMurray currently on a five year winless streak, it’s becoming obvious that McMurray peaked years ago.
Not only that, it is now becoming apparent that he is spiraling downward and continues to bring in subpar performance after subpar performance. In the end, McMurray has been a pretty consistent driver over the years with seven wins, 62 top-fives, 163 top-ten’s, and 11 poles, but that has been overshadowed by the fact that he has never won a championship or finished better than 11th in points.
